Constipation is a common gastrointestinal problem and this
problem is faced by all at some point in their lives. Some of the symptoms of
constipation are having infrequent bowel movements, bloating, passing hard
stools, nausea and discomfort. The main
symptom of constipation is that the stool becomes hard and the person finds it
difficult to pass it. It is therefore
important that constipation problems should be treated else it could lead to
other serious problems.
There are various natural remedies to relieve constipation
some of which are given below:
To relieve constipation take at least 2 glasses of warm water
in the morning and then go for a brisk walk.
Before going to bed at night, take one glass of milk as this
helps in passing stool normally in the morning.
Aloe gel 1-2 spoons will also help overcome this problem.
Another way of relieving constipation is to take 2-3 glasses
of lemon juice with warm water at least 2-3 times a day.
Herbal laxatives helps in
relieving constipation. It must be taken along with water or milk at bedtime.
