Constipation,
which is more of a symptom than a disease, is if a person has fewer bowel
movements than normal, bowels are hard and difficulty in passing stools. Some of the other symptoms are bad breadth,
loss of appetite, pain in the lower leg, headache, acidity, dizziness and
nausea. Constipation if continues for long should be considered as serious and
one should take steps to overcome this problem.
There are various causes of constipation like faulty diet,
lack of fluids, sedentary lifestyle, lack of exercise, anxiety, smoking, having
too much tea or coffee, overuse of laxatives, hormonal changes, aging and
certain medications.
It is therefore important that you should increase your fluid
intake, exercise daily, consume more vegetables and fruits to relieve and stop
constipation problem. There are herbal laxatives available
which are effective and helps relieve constipation in a safe way.
